About the maker...

Masanori Tanaka (1970–2026, Aged 56) Born in Dachi, Gifu, Masanori Tanaka was a master of the distinctive Oribe ceramic style. Though a successful kidney transplant once revitalized his health and deepened his devotion to the craft, his final years became a fierce battle against immune failure, triggered by a minor infection. This collection stands as the ultimate testament to an artist who stood before the clay with unwavering resolve until his very last breath.
